Jimbo and Herman teams both have 5 losses this year and Coach O beat them both. Appears as though the right decision was made by LSU.

He ran Fla St into the ground, now it’s A&M’s turn.

He’s just never shown himself to be any good unless he’s got a 1st round level NFL QB to carry him.
which will make next year very interesting. joe is a generational talent - what will this offense look like with a "normal" quarterback running it?

You have to love the comments on TexAgs- one even said they could have signed Les Miles instead of Fisher! It's always nice to see the board for another team melt!

Sad when I think of the person that actually agreed to that contract on behalf of aTm.

That person would be Scott Woodward. Currently the AD at LSU.

Jimbo is a very good coach. If he was here, with Burrow, he’d have more success but we have our homeboy O who will live the dream.
are you fricking kidding me?

We're undefeated (with only ONE game even legitimately close) in the SECCG and a lock-in for the playoffs. Burrow has tied Lock's record, broke Couches, not 1 but 2 biletnikoff award semi-finalists, and a near shoe-in for the Heisman at QB.

But yeah, Burreaux would've done better if we had Jimbo and not "homeboy" Orgeron.

Homebody What? frick You

At least he was complimentary towards his opponent and didn't throw his players under the bus, unlike a former LSU coach. And you can't blame him for taking that huge contract. Kudos to his agent.

Never thought a contract would be as bad as the one Michigan gave to Harbaugh. Fraud coaches that got exposed.

Does it give anyone pause when we remember that our current AD have Jimbo that contract?

I didn't see anything wrong in what he said. He said that we whipped their butts in all 3 phases of the game. Gave us numerous props and cudos.

What else was he going to do

So happy we “missed out”

he has won everywhere he has coached. OC and HC. can coach 1 side of ball. MAybe we can give O some credit and say a good coach beat another good coach?

resume was light years better than O no denying.

he will get them better once he gets his guys. anyone thinking TAMU and LSU were equal when O and jimbo were hired is smoking crack. LSU was far ahead which helped O.

more like we got lucky thankfully(with the resume saying differently) with O and caught lightning in a bottle with brady and him hiring brady and fixing mistakes and making chicken salad out of chicken shite( letting E be OC by himself).

Hope it continues. O has a shot to do great things here now.

I doubt it.

They have money and they’re arrogant.
