The one thing I can't stand is his whining during the games and being so negative and then happily going along with the Les Miles show and getting mad at serious questions.

I love when he says the guy for the other team is "wide open" or "off to the races" when there's a gain of 7-8 yards. When an LSU player gets 7-8 yards, he's "stacked up with nowhere to go"

I'm learning that nobody is better at eating their own than LSU.

He is more concerned with arguing his differing point to the color guy(which is usually wrong) rather than shutting his mouth and doing his job to announce the games. Jim, we don't care if you're right or wrong. Quit trying to be "right" all the time.

And then if he has no choice but to be wrong, he goes out of his way for the next ten minutes over-doing his apology and admitting he was wrong. And of course, again, nobody cares whether you were right or wrong. Shut your mouth and be a radio announcer. You're not getting paid for your opinion or else you'd be on WJBO during the day.

Tonight's snippy reaction to BilJ's comment reminds me: Jim Hawthorne sucks.

I'm listening to the podcast on Geauxzone hoping I hear this phone call.

I swear I heard him announce Sam Montgomery in on a tackle in the McNeese game this past Saturday. I was just thinking at the time sarcastically, "IT'S A MIRACLE!"

Also, Jim when you want to do your little chuckle at a cheesey joke someone makes during the Les Miles show, do it away from the frickin microphone. Makes me want to break my radio.
