If the execution is there, yes. Unfortunately, it seems every time we try to run a screen the opposing defense reads it immediately and blows it up.

if we’d hit 2 miracle plays under Ensminger in 2016 we would’ve beaten Bama too, so I’m guessing you think Ensminger is great? Again, Canada’s passing down S&P+ was 2nd worst at LSU in this awful decade of crap coaching. He has the same idiot mindset that he’s going to run his scheme and the players are going to fit into it rather than the other way around and he’s not good. I’ll never understand this board’s obsession with him like he’s some god tier offensive coordinator, I hated watching his embarrassing gimmicky offense and the numbers show that he was just another failed OC in a long line of shitty OC’s at LSU since Jimbo left

Our OL cannot block that scheme...... If you look at the Arkansas game we hit big on the A and B gaps!

Probably because LSU can't seem to run screens. I haven't seen one run yet that has worked when they've tried.

The ones in 2017 weren't miracle plays, they were open deep passes that Etling and Chark just didn't execute on.
