You realize the rest of the country doesnt give a shite about our athletes getting arrested, right?

To say they are the biggest offseason stories in the last 3 years is a bug stretch. They are the biggest because we think they are and we are the closest to the program.

Penn state ring a bell?

These idiots don't realize that from on top of their morale high horse.

It's a college kid in a bar fight. It happens every year at every university. Get over it. If you can't get over it then piss off. LSU football will be fine without you.

Being on probation, and maintaining that probation eligibility separates this from your average college kid bar fight. If guilty, he'll sit a game or two.

It is not a battery if you agree to fight.
If you square off, I would say that is giving consent to fight.
I am a 20 yr ADA. I have rejected hundreds of bar fight charges. This will be rejected vs Mr. Hill. His friend, not so much.

I think it will, too. However, even if it is, Miles will certainly have to go to bat, once again, for Hill. And, if Hill was still on probation through the school/program, then I think there's a chance it could fall upon deaf ears.

Hopefully I am wrong though.

I think it'll be a soft suspension until the dust settles. Remember, you are innocent until proven guilty in this country, so once the dust settles, there'll be punishment if it's justified, if not, then we'll move on

So there was another person doing some assaulting? Is there any credible new information?

I'm sure they won't release anything until Monday. That's just my assumption though

Fan rule #1...never let your personal happiness rest on the shoulders of an 18 year old male...I won't call him a boy or a man because he is neither...actually some of the blame should rest with the fans...when a game becomes more important than real life, the culture is ready for collapse...and that's where the West sits right now, on the edge of the abyss...mark my words, this type of social excess is screaming "trouble"!

based on this from the advocate (im sure this was already posted) it looks like Hill got simple battery and the other cat is going to be the one getting the hammer.

I can't imagine if there was some provocation that they will hang him out for simple battery.

thanks, I hadn't looked at the initial one.

I heard an interview with Hill recently and he seemed like a guy that was grateful for his 2nd chance. I hope that video shows him pushing the guy or something minor.

I only played rugby at LSU so I'm not comparing but....

man if i got arrested everything I was in a fight wow i can't imagine. I'm sure the majority of us went looking for a fight or two (or 10) as undergrads. I'd like to think if I had Hill's talent and possible trip to the NFL that I would have shown more restraint but I'm not him so I can't say.

Yes, the 2nd person is who knocked the guy out apparently.

Hill did hit him though. And hills buddy finished him off..

It's hard to see at 18,19 or 20...but one more mistake could change his future. From making millions to being poor/middle class.

Most people don't care outside the fact he is a running back for LSU, but his future rests on his decisions, and he doesn't have may options being on probation.

and these guys generally aren't the most cerebral. They just don't think of the consequences before doing anything it seems.
