that ain't shite. I gots 30's on my whip. He got like 24's.

I was thinking he was more like a mixture of Fergie and Jesus

Agree bad comparison. 2 completely different styles of runners. McFadden was/is much faster than Hill. The Greg Jones comparison was more apt but I don't think Hill runs as physically as Jones did. Anyone that saw Greg Jones at FSU knows that he was a monster when he lowered the shoulder. He ran over people like few have before or after.
I thought Hill was the better back of he and Hilliard and still do. Hill has skills that Hilliard doesn't. Question is does Hill have the same drive that Hilliard does. Word is that our staff had Hill higher on the board than Hilliard as well.
Hill reminds me of Shaun Alexander. Physical but not a tremendously physical guy and fast/agile but not exceptionally so. Top end vision and balance with a well rounded skillset and good, solid hands as a receiver out of the backfield. Hill is a little bigger iirc about Alexander's size. Either way Hill is a very good fit for our style.

Why does everyone have to be the next "insert former player"?
Posted on 5/15/12 at 3:28 pm to Ignignot
He seems to be another typical Les Miles type back to me. A big battering ram north south runner.

I didn;t want to say it before but I think he actually reminds me of Barry Sanders or Sweetness. that but sort of mixed with T. Davis from that Broncos team in late 90s
I swear our fan base is the weirdest. Fans on earth. We either hate your fricking guts(JJ) or think a freshman, whom has never taken a collegiate handoff, is a combination of two of the greatest rb to ever walk on earth.

I don't think Hill will run as fast a DMac did at the combine. Wasn't it a 4.38
Posted on 5/15/12 at 3:49 pm to Rickdaddy4188
These kinds comparisons are unfair to the player.
Both Hill and DMac are runnning backs and both are, in their own way, very good.
Now, let the kid prove himself and his own style of running.
I remember thps type of posting for Keiland Williams....He was very good, but could never quite live up to expectations

Will we be running the Wild Tiger with him?

The good thing about having battering rams is that shite sucks trying to tackle those frickers come around the 4th quarter. And we have like 5 of em
Posted on 5/15/12 at 4:28 pm to RAGINTIGER
Jeremy Hill has almost the exact size and skill sets as Jeremy Hill.
Posted on 5/15/12 at 4:36 pm to TxTiger82
So you're saying he'll carry for effortless 60+ yards in the first quarter, then we'll never see again in the game? RIP Keiland.

Good comparison, but I think Hill is a little bigger.

NO. He is way bigger than Darren. I know the dude. YES I have seen him play too. A GREAT talent. But not as good as Ford.

McFadden is lot faster than Hill.
Yeah, not sure why he picked D. McFadden as some comparison. McFadden had elite speed for a RB
Posted on 5/15/12 at 5:11 pm to GeauxMez
Yeah, his film shows that the wood he brings with him can batter/smash people in the mouth.
Posted on 5/15/12 at 5:59 pm to sunnydaze
didn't he get moved to FB?
Posted on 5/15/12 at 6:23 pm to Poxxxx says GFR
I read about him getting some snaps at FB during the spring but nothing about a permanent move. He may get a snap or two there like Hilliard early last season.
