his belief that a 20-7 record is good by LSU's standards is only proof that he doesn't have a clue.
It IS good by LSU standards.
JJ should thank Lee for at least two of those wins....

The majority of welfare recipients are white.
I can't believe we are having this discussion on the tiger rant, but I couldn't let this statement go without addressing it.
Here's what your link says
quote:
39% white 11,661,000 of 29,900,000 recipients
quote:
38% black 11,362,000 of 29,900,000
You do realize that according to the 2010 census the demographics in this country are:
75.1 % white
12.3 % Black demographics
So yes, technically, your right, the majority is white (barely by 1 %), but you conveniently left out the population of white is over 6 TIMES the population black in this country.
If you can't look at those stats and see something is wrong with that picture I'm not sure what to tell you.

For breaking team rules (curfew) which resulted in the whole matter ... this creating heartache and untold stress on his coaches and those in the University who have busted their arses to keep LSU's Program on the straight and narrow
Unity council took care of that. What else you got?

I posted this on the last page. However, still doesn't change the fact that the douchebag in this thread said all the black people calling in to WJBO were welfare recipients living off the government. I'd distance myself from that if I were you.

quote:Yes. We are running more than 50 plays a game this year.
We are actually running more than 50 plays a game this year
It's nice to have an efficient offense that has time to run plays.

I don't think he's gonna get it.

quote:Okay. It isn't.
It isn't about JJ/Lee. I initially brought up the ppg in response to someone saying that "Lee's offense" isn't that much better.
Someone bashes Jefferson. Someone counters about Lee. You counter about Jefferson. I counter about Lee.
But look where it started.

As much as it can be fact, it is a fact that the offense is better this season. Saying that doesn't mean it is all about Lee, either.

quote:The criminal proceedings are still ongoing. Jefferson has been advised to not say anything about the incident. He shouldn't say a word in public. It would be INAPPROPRIATE for him to say anything in public about the incident.
Since the unity council came out after the incident and apologized, I thought it would have been appropriate for JJ to do the same in the public eye.
Mett didn't say a word until the charges were reduced in his plea agreement.

He's not a politicians, but atleast he trying to go all out and talk to everyone about something he Couldn't IMAGINE that would have happen to any college player or in fact non player. He was saying he coudn't imagine people wanting so bad to target him because he's the QB(no longer needed by some). The DNA parade, felony implications, possible dismissal from team and college, stemming from a night out with more than half the team.He admitted that was a mistake in hinesight, because of what he subsequently got implicated in,but he's not going to say he's sorry for anything else when he didn't do anything else. If JJ did anything but what he did in the videos, besides just standing there, the video taker would have followed him. That was shown because that's all he did and they couldn't get anything more incrimidating. Saying he should have left, well he did after he was drawn to the disturbence .JJ is just a semi-nerdy( well raised kid) trying to be alright with the team and didn't evaluate in a split second what was going to develope. He couldn't imagine how big his fall is in the eyes of some. Well ,bet he's awake now.Because he's not a knuckle head. And he knows he's going be hated, what's new. Some have been and always will. You can see it in the flip flopping of standards. If he says he sorry, they'll slant it and say he's a dirty felon, and should be gone and do what they can to ruin him.

Not to mention the inevitable civil suit that will be filed. I guarantee you the plaintiffs' attorney will be parsing every word that Jefferson says from here on out to find anything that could conceivably be construed as an admission of fault. That includes the kind of mea culpa that so some posters seem to want. Frankly I'm surprised he's talking to the media at all. I think the wiser choice, and not just from a legal standpoint, would've been just to say he's off limits to interviews.

If I remember correctly, you are a (self)righteous God fearing American who always does the correct thing. We should all heed your wisdom when it comes to God, country and LSU. I'm sorry to have ever waivered.
