Are you intentionally being a moron? I listed the five 200+ yard passing games in 2009. Read the title of the thread and the first post.

Everyone recognizes that you pick selective stats because you're butthurt that your pick for QB looks like crap.

Go ahead and list the 200 yds games he's had in 2010.

OK, I'll make it easier. List the 100 yd games he's had in 2010.

Still having trouble I see.

I wish you two winners would explain for us why you think JL isn't the starter since you guys have a hard on for him. Let's see it must be some sort of sinister conspiracy by the coaching staff to keep him off the field. Perhaps JJ's father is paying the coaching staff off or maybe even blackmailing them. I mean what else could it be?

Actually, he did not look bad at all in the NC game and he didn't look bad at all in the Mississippi State game. Is it his fault that the passing game sucks so for this season? No, he doesn't call the plays, he only executes the plays that are called, and besides he wouldn't be held responsible in any event. Cause you want to know why? He isn't the coach.

Do you think that the playcalling has anything to do with the OC not trusting the QB to execute?

I could understand that if JL was the starter with the rate he throws interceptions and pick sixes, but with JJ, with the exception of the Vandy game, where in his defense he was sick, his completion percentage has been relatively high and remarkably he doesn't throw interceptions. Hence, considering his passing completion percentage in both the NC game and the MSU game, it is ludicrous to be so overly ultra conservative as the play calling has been in both those games. Not to mention that all his passes against MSU were on the money.

...

As far as the rest of your post, it's incredibly easy to complete over 70% of your passes when you throw the ball 5-7 yards on every pass and your wide receivers are talented enough to bring the ball in when it is thrown off target.

Actually, he completed a few long ones like a 21 yarder to RS and an 18 yarder to TT, but again it’s not his fault that GC calls for short passes. Hell, I thought GC was setting up the MSU defenders for a stop and go pattern, but while he had them setup he never called it once, which was ridiculous. Nevertheless, all the balls thrown by JJ were for the most part on the money. Moreover, I seen him call audibles several times and he made several nice check off for completions. Not to mention he didn't look confused in the least and looked very confident like he was in the grove. This is not the same JJ we watched last season.

First of all, Mensa in any format is gay. So I would never be a part of that...

Secondly, where have I tried to defend our passing game ranking? I guess if I'm not totally hammering Jefferson, I think he's awesome or am not critical of him enough in your eyes?

Our passing game overall sucks through three games. JJ has been decent at best. Yes, State was much better, but we're still having issues connecting on plays of 15+. Do I have faith that JL would be any better? No. Do I have faith that he hasn't improved and couldn't do better? No. I might not be totally optimistic about him, but I say let him pass the damn ball and find out what our situation really is. But our coaches don't want to do that for some reason. Hell, they barely want to do it with the starter. It might be confidence factors or whatever, but I don't care about that BS. It's a tough sport. Either show great effort and perform or see what else there is... But we are winning and look good in many aspects of our game, so I'll give them credit for that.

I'm just more fair than some of the jackazzes on here. Our offensive coordinator doesn't help sometimes and our WRs haven't exactly been candidates for the all-hands team. So besides JJ's issues, those things don't help either. He needs to get better (mostly with him timing and hesitancy to throw down field - I'm fine with his accuracy). But right now, he is what he is...a winning QB that basically always has you in the game with good D play. He had a number of games last year where we couldn't run, yet we remained in all games until late. The bottom line is that I haven't seen where the coaches are preparing our QBs the best they can during games for the big boys.
