We just need to be patient. He is just a college quarterback still learning the position. Cut him a little slack.

You're kidding, right? He's a freaking junior. He's had a whole season and a half to learn. It's obvious that for whatever reasons that he just can't get it done. It's time for a change. LSU desperately needs a spark on offense. Whether or not Lee can provide that is yet to be seen, but we'll never know if Miles doesn't give him a chance.

are you serious? He has a complete season under his belt and he's a junior? How long do we have to be patient?

And yet people called me crazy when I said he would have a game just as bad as Vandy shortly...

People called me crazy when I said the SPRING GAME DID SHOW US SOMETHING. It's not the stats but the lack of execution.

And whadya know...here we go again.

i think the JJ era is coming to an end along with crowton...Lee may be crowton's saving grace but we'll see...hopefully someone steps up and JJ is just not looking like that guy.

I call bs. He will never be complete with the coaches babying him. Its time he stand on his own. You can either sink or swim, after all isnt that what they did JL? And he was just a freshman

Whats gonna happen when this kid gets in the real world?
What job is gonna give you 3 years to get it right?

Tired of defending JJ STEP UP or STEP DOWN.

Agreed. It sucks for him that the few really nice throws he made were dropped/bobbled. Frustration and criticism is a hell of a drug.

I loved last week when people were claiming this

quote:

10 for 16. 97 yards. 0 TDs. 0 INTs.

was marked improvement over this

quote:

8 for 20. 96 yards. 0 TDs. 1 INTs.

How would Spurrier have treated Jefferson. If he can't handle Mile's treatment something is wrong. He needs a fricking "FRAGILE" packing sticker put on his helmet.

Jefferson did play better against MSU than he did against Vandy

The numbers were roughly the same, but he did everything he was asked to do against MSU and made very few mistakes.

Situation is sad. Kid has physical tools but just is unable to get it done. Confidence, understanding plays, reading defense - who knows. It is just not working and has not for over a full season. Time to do something different - Whether that is play Lee after so many series or start Lee. Miles needs to make some type of change as it is just not working as it should.

Did Miles change his decision about the Co-DC's during the season? Did he change QB's when JL was struggling during the seaon? It took injury to dictate a change at the QB position then and it will likely take that for it to happen now.

Sad but true. Get used to seeing JJ and try to find a way to make peace with it. The more I come on here, the more my anger for JJ is taken away and replaced with sympathy. The kid is failing miserably but he is constantly being thrust back on to the stage under the bright lights for all to see.

I can only begin to imagine how his parents must feel. It probably was only a few years ago that you were bragging about your son playing for LSU, as ANY PROUD parent would do. Fast forward to today, fans are booing your son and he is being laughed at by the national media.

All in all, he is STILL someones child. I guess we should try to remember that at times.
