See that's the problem. He wasn't replying to anything that could be labeled shite-talking. QBs are always asked about the competition. It comes with the territory. His immediate defensive reply made him sound childishly guarded, not confident.

No, his response sounded like someone stating a fact when asked about people talking about other QBs in his "rear view mirror".
To me it doesn't sound childish, or immature, or cocky, or anything except for matter-of-factly.
Sounds like his position is along the lines of...
You can talk all you want about other Qbs, but I'm the starter.

he's followed same pattern since he has been here.
There are a few reasons I dont care for JJ but the biggest is becasue he doesnt exude the characteristics and qualities I want out of the starting qb for LSU.
Youd think he would've matured and gotten this down pat by now. Aint happening.

Roaad is right, you are wrong. Jamarcus went 18/20 330 yards 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions and caught a shite ton of flack from the Rant for staring down receivers. Some will never be happy no matter what.
