I have a good friend that played ball at LSU back in the mid to late 70's.
We play golf at least once a week and talk about this stuff regularly.
He told me that it blows his mind that les allows JJ to talk as much as he does and say the things that he says.
Said Cholly mac was hesitant to whom he let talk to the media regardless what year they were in and more importantly what he let them say.
I, as this guy understand this isnt cholly mac and this isnt 1979, however to an extent things IMO should be handled little closer to the vest,, especially since there is an undisputed fact among media and fans.... JJ is at best a mediocre player, long ways away from a star.

Did your 70's friend miss the Josh Booty years?
BTW, Cholly Mac beat Bama 2 times in his time here, & had no NC's.

I'm not a huge JJ fan but he can't stand up for himself after everyone always talks shite about him?

Roaad is right, you are wrong.

Jamarcus went 18/20 330 yards 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions and caught a shite ton of flack from the Rant for staring down receivers. Some will never be happy no matter what.
It was lunacy.
But. . .so is the way some people are completely invested in any player's failure.

He needs to shut up and PROVE it on the damn field. So far he has SUCKED. PROVE IT !

How do you expect him to do that in July?
People are asking him questions in July.
People are not playing football in July.

IMO once people are take the criticisms regurgitated about a player over and over, near impossible for them to not find fault.
not even a big JJ guy, but hes obviously "the guy" and its not gonna change anytime soon.
we all should praying to God, Allah, Pussaliah, and Joeboo that the opinions by analysts are correct

JJ disappointed me last year, but I think the reason for the offensive troubles is in Maryland now.
If I am right, JJ could have a big year. If I am wrong, I will concede that I am wrong.

Turns out they were right, Flynn won, JR didn't.

LOL, are you in for a surprise !

Turns out they were right
JR had the same record as Flynn.
JR set many passing records.
Flynn had things go his way that he could not control.
You don't think JR could have beat the 07 Vols or the 07 Buckeyes?

Complete bullshite. I fricking hate it when people jump on here and act like the Rant can never be happy. People bitch about a lot on here, but not one single person will get on here and bitch if JJ EVER went 15-20, 300, 4/1. It will NEVER happen so your argument is nil.

Turns out JR is a complete dumb arse and couldn't find his way out of a three sided room !

Fortunately, he was also the greatest QB in LSU history.

Isn't there a ban on first year players from speaking to the media?
