The front-runner was established, JJ. JJ is still the front-runner unless Lee shows he has improved in practice.

Alternating series is the most idiotic idea I've heard in a while, only a moron could think of this rubbish. JJ has some things to improve upon, though he gives us a much better chance than Lee. At this point we should stick with JJ's development, gives us the best chance to win.

JL has plenty of SEC experience and YET he hasn't been able to win the coaches trust to play. What a pity, we've already wasted 8-9 games on this guy, no more please.

Problem is J. Lee's picks were actually caught and not dropped. I'd like to think that is just coincidence and not some magical power that Jefferson has to make Defensive backs drop the ball.

J. Lee throws a more catchable pass, thus the drops by the defensive backs....and, he's not scared to actaully attempt a pass in coverage and give our athletes a chance to make a play. As bad as the P6's were last year, bottom line is that JL is a better QB than JJ. I'll take the occasional interception if we're banking 30+ points a game anyday over this teams current offensive output.

as has already been posted, Jefferson is the front runner and is already established as the starting QB. He beat out Lee even though Lee had one year and 9 games worth of playing experience on him. It's time for everyone just to get behind our QB. There really isn't anyone any better or more ready or capable sitting on the bench.

That was supposed to be taken as funny. However, it may very well have some truth behind it.

No it doesn't.
Fact is JL throws catchable balls to the DB almost every time.

In fact the DB's have enough time to catch the Ball, make a move and bust it open for the TD.
Hence the excessive pick 6's.

Occasional???? Are you kidding me? You must be

What is so occasional about 3 crucial INTs against Georgia and 4 against Bama (or was it 5)?

And how many of these were returned for TDs? I can't believe JL now supposedly only throw the 'occasional' INT. Occasionally you make absolutely no sense.

a front runner does not equate to one GREAT QB...
let's quit worshiping JJs arse and start looking at what works best...Like or not,
HE is not producing at this time, we need to look at ALL options...
Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama and Ark are still ahead.

Agreed. Though alternating series with JL is not a good option. Giving the ball to RS for a few snaps I can see.
Nobody is worshipping JJ, just a lot of us are shocked at most people here calling for JL to start/get significant playing time. That is certainly not a good option.

I don't think anyone is saying Jefferson is a great QB right now but he does seem to be our best option. The coaching staff has already come to the conclusion who is most capable of QBing this team after watching multitudes of practices, games, scrimmages, spring and fall camps going back throughout last season and into this one and have named the starter. Like it or not.
