That's funny that they felt pressed to arrest one of the few remaining "European Americans" on the team to erase the perception that going after Jefferson only would be racist. And you know that all the Jesse and Al types (Both black and white) would be screaming racism if only Jefferson were arrested.

I am glad that the Tigers can move on. I am sad for JJ, Johns and their families. But people should realize that if a person lies to their own father, they won't have a problem lying to anyone else. If you find yourself in a hole, quit digging!
What came first? The chicken or the egg. How soon people forget that 4 people were hurt. 4. Which ones were hurt first? By whom? We have not heard one thing about the other 3 victims who have chosen or directed to remain silent by their lawyers, So people coming on here saying that there are no other witnesses are either crazy or whatever. The marine guy has issues. But, what about the guy who got drug from the truck? And who are the other 3 friends and what did they do wrong? I have loved LSU before most of your posters have been born. I will bleed purple and gold as long as I live. All that I ask is honesty. And now compassion for all concerned. Now let's get behind the team and show the Ducks what it means to be Tigers.

I believe JJ's were wrong and punishment fair, (maybe misdemeanor battery?), but can anyone tell me why a drunken misguided marine wannabe who picks a fight shouldn't get his arse kicked. Don't start a fight you can't win. Just walk away,live to fight another day. Lowrey probably gonna get a d/c from military before proceeding with an otherwise miserable career.

Sad day for lsu football but the players are getting what they deserve. Someone was kicking that guy on the ground and weather provoked or not that crosses the line. My only hope is that if it wasn't JJ whoever did will be a man and come forward.

Sad situation. With the unsolved murders that are rampant in BR, this makes the cops look like fools, straight up.
Anybody with a brain would have had this shite solved earlier, one way or the other. When I was involved in altercations, it was taken care of in 24 hours. Granted, there was no kicking the head, but altercations I witnessed, etc.
Sad to see this happen to the JJ's, I am hoping they get their second chance soon.
