Care to explain why?
1. Lack of orginality or creativity on offense
2. Poor execution at the skill positions
3. 5 years of lack of QB development
4. Always a slow start on offense
5. Same excuses year over year for being ranked in the bottom 100 of offensive statistics despite having top 5 and top 10 recruiting classes with 4 and 5 star players....
just to name a few.

Jeff Tedford for OC

Tedford was fired, Gruden already has a job.

Of course this post will bring out the 'are we hiring' an OC,etc...which i'm sure Les is staying put at that spot.and yeah the Offense has been clicking..but just seeing Tedford's credentials in this thread..pretty impressive...SEC country you don't realize the numbers of great players he's put out at Cal. Somebody will get a damn good offensive mind.

Hire a "true OC"
You realize Stud was an OC before coming to LSU, right?

Stud actually put up good numbers at Bowling Green. When he was made OC it was kinda like he should be an OC anyway. BG is just the MAC, but still...they beat some named teams in his time there.

Actually, if Tedford could help dig into the recruiting pool out west, I wouldn't be opposed. We know his success with developing QB's and imagine if we could start jacking some recruits from SC and Oregon?

Curious that the same people who insist that Miles interferes with his OC system and playcalling (only when things go BAD obviously) are the same ones that constantly bring every top flight guy who finds himself looking for work as someone we should bring in.
Don't you think a sure to be highly sought after guy like Tedford would balk at the idea of putting his immense talents to work for some buffoon who is going to meddle and screw up everything he tries to do???
I'll hang up and listen
And for the record, I'd love if we brought him in somehow. Great with QBs and would be great to have a guy with his recruiting connections out West.
Just had to point out the humor in a post like this coming from you.

When are you people going to learn this offense will never change with a new OC? Deal with it. I'd rather LSU hire Ben Wilkerson back as OL coach and push Ensminger to admin status. That way we can actually get someone who can coach an OL because if they do that - shite playcalling aside - Mett will be beastly with protection. Stud can do what he does best and commit thievery against LSU until something happens that forces him away from OC role...

and tedford's playbook would suddenly include the option, power toss inside, and horizontal passes.
