Daniel was the 2nd ranked dual QB in the country coming out of high school. That’s pretty damn good. Harris and Jennings may have been top 20 or 30 quarterbacks.

Harris was also the 2nd ranked dual threat but I completely agree that the OP is dumb and at least a little racist.

Yep. He has to prove himself. It is a good anaclasis. He'll run too soon before letting the play develop.

Everyone talked the same way glorifying Harris before he started a game. Everyone saw what happen. Don't blame the coaches.

I will never understand why people look at having a quarterback who runs well as a negative thing

I wonder if Jennings and Harris would have been as awful under a better coach.

Correct NO it is not a good comparison..

Harris had 26 total TD’s in 20 games his first 2 years compared to Daniel’s 29 TD’s in ONLY 16 games his first 2 years.

In those 20 games Harris did not start all those 20 games. He only started 17.

Didn't start till the 7th game of freshman year

I see so many similarities especially with the accuracy

I assume you mean Jayden Daniels, I don't know who Jayden Daniel is. Tell me what those similarities are, because you are clearly wrong on accuracy from a statistical point of view.

In fact, statistically, he is probably closer to Burrow than those two (no, I am not saying he is going to be the next Joe Burrow). Were there flaws in his footwork and/or throwing motion? Very likely, based on what I've read. Could those have been rectified or at least improved, the coaches will know that. And remember, there have been some very effective college QBs with poor form and technique, Tim Tebow comes to mind.

Daniels
Passing - 451/723 62.4% 6025 yards 32 TDs 13 Ints 143.4 rating
Rushing - 296 rushes 1288 yards 4.4 YPC 13 TDs

Harris
Passing - 222/418 53.1% 3102 yards 21 TDs 18 Ints 123.4 rating
Rushing - 131 rushes 456 yards 3.5 YPC 7 TDs

Jennings
Passing - 317/579 54.7% 3970 yards 23 TDs 21 Ints 118.2 ratings
Rushing - 271 rushes 651 yards 2.4 YPC 11 TDs

Burrow
Passing - 650/945 68.8% 8852 yards 78 TDs 11 Ints 172.4 rating
Rushing - 258 rushes 820 yards 3.2 YPC 13 TDs

You realize Jennings by himself destroyed that team's talent? I don't think you realize how talented that LSU team was and how bad Jennings was also.

Considering Jennings arguably was worse when he left LSU in the Sun Belt conference no less probably not. His last year he had 11 TDs, 13 INTs, 59% completion, and 2100 yards. Slightly better stats when he left LSU but when you look at the competition and the fact he actually had a lower yards per completion he simply was a bust that nobody could've worked with. He's definitely one of the worst QBs in Miles era if not the worst. Don't know. Andrew Hatch probably would be up there too.
