I know…that’s why I made the comment regarding Covid and signings which you didn’t quote. In the eyes of the MLB he’s just an a year older each year no matter what he’s listed on a college roster.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Pearson was an infielder? IMO JJ will do whatever it takes to get another power bat in the lineup…. Weather it’s to move Pearson to 2nd and Morgan in the outfield…. The only out field position that is solid is crews at the moment. If Dugas comes back…. I don’t think Stevenson plays.
I see where someone said Pearson did play middle infield.

You may be right… I’m looking at it from an offensive mindset which is what JJ is.
Plus you won’t lose anything by giving it a shot. You lose potentially 10 or so homeruns by not giving it a shot. Now if Beloso comes in and it’s a huge difference from Morgan…. You can always go back to the drawing board.
