Because Ruckert is supposed to be miles better defensively.

It's the same reason he would put Nippolt and Merrifield in games.

Maybe Jay is just good at buying players. Hasn’t shown much management when they turn out to be average.

I understand the theory but Ruckert just hasn't been good defensively either.

This isn’t new, it’s actually what they get paid to do.

I’m sure he is in practice. But we’ve already seen him frick up in games.
