he's the ONLY player on the team that makes me bite my nails when he has the ball and he's our POINT GUARD.

Yep

I don’t buy the “he’s not a point guard” at all. He’s been on the ball his whole life. He’s still developing into a well rounded balanced guard. He’s had games like Tennessee last year where he emerged as a scorer, but when he plays like yesterday, sets up and plays off his teammates and shows willingness to guard, we have a really good player.

First of all, they played yesterday. Second, I already said that he turned the ball over yesterday in the 2nd half after going 3 straight games without a single turnover (which is excellent). Since he had 10 assists and double-digit points, he was only 3 rebounds away from a triple-double. He had an excellent game.

Oh shite! Cut Javonte ASAP. How is he on scholarship. One turnover in 4 games as a point guard is UNACCEPTABLE!!1!1!

Bassman, you are a fricking clown.

I'm not sure why because Mays and Watford had way more turnovers in SEC play than Smart did. And Smart had way less turnovers this year than Waters had last year.

Excellent player for us. He was a much better piece of the puzzle last year when he had T. Waters playing point, but that is not his fault. I am glad we have him and would love to have him for two more years.

His shooting % in conference games this season was .442 (fg) / .379 (3pt) / .821 (ft).

He had a couple bad games in conference, but in the big picture he took a step forward this season. We’re gonna be deeper and more talented next year, and he is going to shine.
