this is my point. terrible. doesn't matter if you "protect the ball" when you constantly go three and out and only run 45 plays a game if you are lucky.

Well we did win 9 games last year... arguable that it could have easily been 7 or 11, though.

Anyway, I'll pull for Jefferson when he's out there for sure. If things aren't going well and Lee comes in, I won't be a bitch like some fans and go cry and moan in a corner about it. I'll pull for him.

If Lee is apparently going to throw pick sixes every game, then Jefferson is apparently going to lead the 112th ranked offense again. Some of you are dullards for sticking to your guns on Lee throwing pick sixes while swearing up and down that Jefferson is so much better and that he will improve and give us a better offense this year. Lee was terrible against Tech last year, but did Jefferson progress between Washington and Arkansas? I think not.

JMHO FWIW GTFO GFY

... and why is this on the OT

You guys are talking about the wrong Lee. We need to focus our attention to Zach. That guy has never thrown an incompletion in college in his life.

Do you remember Jefferson taking a sack at the end of the Ole Piss game which got us out of FG range?

Just one example. The kid has jittery feet, can't move in the pocket, its either throw right away, take a sack or bolt at the first sign of pressure. He will not stay in and take a hit.

REmember that great TD pass to Mitchell that Lee threw against florida? He got killed but hung in there and made the throw right on the money.

He's had two years of work to get better. I just see him as a better option than Jefferson. Not saying Lee is great, just our current best option.

Dude was Bret Favresque

which amazes me b/c that mentality is what people LOVE about favre but they hate it about Lee. I know JL is not at favre's level(obviously) but he has that same mentality. I'd take his 38 on UGA in 08 anyday over the what 6 jefferson put on florida last year?

Jefferson just takes too long to get rid of the ball and can't look off defenders.

Are you going to flame or put up a cogent argument as to why I'm such an idiot? I love how everyone's response is "you are an idiot" but they don't put up a counter argument.

after watching the scrimmage for the third time, i have come to the obvious conclusion that Lee is much better than jefferson.

random qb talk on the OT, bad thing is its been a better discussion than ive seen on the rant in months

FWIW im with you on Lee, i think he could be special if he gets comfortable and has the team rally behind him

I could not watch that abomination more than once. Jefferson looked like a high school kid who had no clue what the plays were. He was terrible. His accuracy on par with a storm trooper from Star Wars.

Jordan Jefferson reminds me of Aaron Brooks. Had a hell of a game against Ga. Tech, and then mediocrity from then on. Aaron Brooks qb's the Saints to their first play-off win, and then poof, mediocrity at best. There's just no improvement. I think Lee deserves a chance. I don't know why we can't use em both with a little bit of trickery. Especially with Jordans athletic ability. We need more of this on the OT. I mean just every now and then. That is all and I'll hang up and listen to the callers.
