He just could not hit at the AAA level. Started 2-40 this year. Best of luck to him.

Damn. I hate to hear this. Of all the players in the last 15 years to come through LSU, I thought he had the best shot to become a star in the big leagues

He was so close to being called up to the majors a year or two ago then he tore his ACL right? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Yea both he and Chad jones were dual athletes.

He missed the entire 2010 season I believe after tearing a tendon in one his ankles. Has never really been the same since

Yeah I knew it was something of that sort but that sucks. He was a heck of player before the injury

Spencer Ware for a year. Chris Jackson too (the kicker), but that was a while ago.

He had great bat speed but he looked bad on off speed pitches a lot.
