Source: #Bengals are signing superstar WR Ja’Marr Chase to a four-year, $162.5 million contract extension, including $115M guaranteed.

This makes him the highest paid non-QB in NFL history.

Can’t believe Ja’Marr almost became a gator because Miles thought he was a safety smh

And if he had become a gator, there would not have been Joe Burrow to make him great

Glad for him but the reason the Bengals are so bad is because they don’t have much money left to spend on rest of team after he and Joe get paid.

The team is gonna end up being just Joe, Ja'Marr, and a handful of warm bodies with these contracts.

But he hadn't gotten paid and they already suck. They suck because their defense was built solely to lose to the Chiefs by a close margin.

And Les thought Dak was a TE.

Maybe Ja’Marr and Dak would’ve been great at safety and TE also. I bet Derrick Henry would also be an all pro line backer.

Not to defend Les as Chase is DEFINITELY playing where he should be (Impact on game, not to mention $$), but he would've been a superstar at safety as well. Ball skills, plays physical, and would for sure lay some big hits. Has the size to be a thumper at safety....John Lynch with more speed.

what I heard was that Dak showed up fat and out of shape and was underwhelming at the camp, but Hallman and DiNardo ran off several Louisiana baws that went on to decent pro careers as RBs or WRs because they were being asked to run backwards, several big names, Marshal Faulk pops up quickly

I thought everyone wanted Marshal Faulk as a DB.
