Spinoff from Biletnikoff thread. These are the real stat leaders. Jeudy isn't winning it this year with his teammate having much better stats.
Chase (LSU):
57 rec, 1,116 yards, 13 TDs (124 ypg/19.6 ypc)
Lamb (OU):
44 rec, 983 yards, 13 TDs (109.2 ypg/22.3 ypc)
D. Smith (Bama):
56 rec, 1,026 yards, 11 TDs (102.6 ypg/18.3 ypc)
Hodgins (Oregon St):
73 rec, 1,021 yards, 13 TDs (102.1 ypg/14 ypc)
Bayless (Arky St):
73 rec, 1,262 yards, 14 TDs (126.2 ypg/17.3 ypc)
Bayless is the only WR in the country that is putting up better stats than Chase across the boards really other than YPC. CeeDee Lamb missed Baylor game for unknown reasons, so he missed some big time national TV moments there.
Should come down to the wire. Chase should put up 100+ and 1/2 TDs against Arkansas to keep his stats going.

He broke LSU TD record for a season
He is #4 and #5 on out top receiving yards in a. Game list
#2 in TDs in a single game.
I think He’s #6 in yards for a season.
He’s been killing it.

Look for T. Marshall to have a big game against Arkansas.

Best receiver in the nation

Will be #2 by the end of the year. Needs 623 yards to catch Josh Reed, which will be a tall order.
So he'll have a season with most TDs and 2nd most yards in LSU history. Just filthy.

I think all 3 guys could have big games against Arkansas

And he's doing it in a season where there are other guys putting up he pass catching numbers. Reed was the guy catching passes on that offense (despite there being other super talented WRs on the team).
Chase is doing this as option 1 on a team with an option 1A, 2, 3, and 3a.
Reed was doing it as option 1, 2, and 3 in the offense.
