It definitely wasn't a great game, but he did have one TD taken away. He also engineered a drive the length of the field and put the Raiders ahead with around 1:00 left after throwing a 56 yard TD. He wasn't as bad as the stats indicate
ETA: And one of the two picks was on a hail mary with a few seconds of game time left.

Struggled with accuracy all night. 1 pic was the hail mary at the end. Had 1 TD pass and should have been 2 with about 30 more yards added to stats from end of 2nd quarter so considering that, he turned in a decent performance but still lots of room for improvement.

Why do we hear all about coaches taking their time with him, protecting him with safe plays, use only half the field, etc. I don't hear any of that with Stafford, Sanchez, Quinn, etc.
He still has a chance to improve, but you people are fooling yourselves about him.

I would say screwed, what does 1 play have to do with the other? Officials were trying to make it up to the Chargers since their LB didn't catch the ball.

Visited the Raider board on ESPN. They have all but given up on Russell. Most want him out.

Steve Young has been bashing Russell for a while now...not sure what axe he has to grind, although he bashed Rivers some last night as well

Because JaMarcus' kind just isn't intelligent enough to process an entire NFL playbook.
