This puts his greatness in perspective. Devonte Smith invited to New York with 1511yds 19 TDS and has a chance at winning the Heisman. JC had 1780yds with 20 TDS and didn’t even get an invite. I realize DS played less games but still Chase was one if he best ever

Oh another crybaby bahaha. He’s a Tiger for life who helped win us a NC. Devonte rejected us to be a Gump. GTF off my post

How many less catches did Jamaar have last season than Smith this season?

Exactly they’re lusting over Smith a gump who betrayed his home state to play for the rival and are shitting on Chase who is a Louisiana kid, was a major part in winning LSU a national championship, and is one of the best to ever play at LSU.

I don’t think anyone is angry at Smith as much as they are Chase. I heard his dad on local radio explaining that it didn’t make any sense for him to come back and play this year. I wholeheartedly disagree. Devonta Smith proved why it made sense to play this season. Not only did he have an incredible season, but he made himself more money by likely being the first WR taken. Chase is going to fall a few picks but could have just played it out and purchased an insurance policy. Had he played and continued to dominate, he probably would have stayed at the top of the pecking order.

Ja’Marr Chase is a lock to be a first round pick. There was no reason for him to come back especially in a year like this one where there was so much uncertainty and most teams didn’t even play but a maximum of 10 games, it’s the truth whether you believe it or not. Only thing he could’ve done was risk a serious injury or a terrible season with up and down QB play dropping his stock. Smith was a different story he was a projected late first guy (I think he would’ve went top 25) last year but with no guarantee he wouldn’t fall to the early 2nd so he came back to guarantee him a spot in the first round in a lesser receiver class than last years. Chase is a lock 1st rounder and top 15 or so pick as long as he doesn’t get into some kind of off the field trouble now.

Or he could have had a dreadful season with true freshman QB. Or tore his Achilles or ACL and dropped down the draft board.

When Chase does well in NFL, this idiot will be the first saying “he’s an LSU guy.” He helped us win a national championship and you dog him. He doesn’t owe you shite. GTFO you piece of shite.

Chase coming back this year to play with shite QB play would have hurt his stock more than him sitting out this year.
