Yea Eli actually did want to go to LSU but either the mom or grandma stepped in and wasn’t having any of that. Peyton apparently pissed her off enough by going to Tennessee that she was demanding Eli to go to Ole Miss lol.
At least that’s the story I’ve always heard as to why Eli chose Ole Miss.

I had the good fortune of being at the Misioroski vs Skenes matchup last month in Milwaukee. Misioroski dominated the Pirates batters with fastballs and unbelievable sliders. His control is just as impressive as the power.
