The kid played hard and competed for two years at the place he dreamed of playing his entire life. It just didn’t work out. Between injuries and inconsistency this year, he was likely going to be down the depth chart again next year. No reason to trash the kid. Will likely work out well for both parties.

A 5 star guy with supreme talent who was going to be one of the main weapons at Alabama this year before injury derailed his season and caused him to have to redshirt vs a guy that got passed up by other younger guys and guys in his own class and chose to transfer? Yes

Muck like Ika, I suspect Bech transferred out to a place that he thinks is better for his football future. This is the same for just about everyone who leaves with football eligibility on the clock.
Bech led us in receiving as a true Fr in '21. I don't doubt his talent. But with the staff changes and the scheme changes, realistically he was looking at never being better then the 4th best WR with two yrs left.
It disappoints when anyone leaves my school. But as long as it isn't a rival I just wish 'em the best.
So now, just curious - was Troy Aikman a quitter?
