The others are back ups at best

No question. All the youth from the last 3 top 5 recruiting classes need to be on the field. Damn this loyalty to these seniors who have proven they aren’t very good.

Did you miss Joe Evans pushing guys all over the place in the first half? Farrell was below average last night, though and Roy and Smith need to play more.

I admit I didn’t. I’ll go back and watch it though. I thought the d-line looked great in the 1st quarter. Then Chip made adjustments and.......well.......we didn’t.

I don’t think the problem was lack of adjustments. At least it’s hard to tell if that was it. The broadcast broke down at least two busts where we were in the correct alignment and the players just didn’t know what to do and busted their assignment.
It’s still on the coaches for not fixing issues or replacing guys who can’t cut it, but it’s a different problem than in-game adjustments and scheme.

O tore into him on the sideline and he didn’t play as much in the 2nd half for some reason.

Glad O could prove his point and sit him. It was really worth it.

Smith played in the first quarter. So did BTJ. They looked fricking good. Then we never saw them again. Also, what happened to Mike Jones?

I agree but Farrel made some great plays last night. I need to rewatch the game because I missed a good bit and didn't have volume.

Smith was on the line for 100% of the defensive stops. He was a difference maker. I think O benched him, but O doesn’t know much about ball.

I think the problem is that Farrel wore down because we didn’t rotate as much as advertised. He was gassed in the 4th quarter.

Honestly, with the offense they ran, give me 3 or 4 of our dts on the line and just blow the whole thing up. Wouldn’t have to worry about contain at all.
