J. Jackson looked good at CB

He looked pretty good against Moore, who's a good WR. It sounded like people weren't sure about what we had in that room beyond Pickett and Woodland, but he looks like a nice CB3 IMO.

He was a good player coming out of HS. I think his big injury a couple of years back hampered him for a while but he may be back to full strength now

PFF agrees with you:
Ty Benefield 76.9
Ja’Keem Jackson 74.3
Tamarcus Cooley 69.2
DJ Pickett 66.0

It’s been all mental for him. We need him to step up and be the CB3

What the hell is up with Picketts PFF grade? I don’t remember much happening against him.

quote:Lack of opportunity. He was only targeted once in coverage all night, allowing zero completions. When a cornerback is rarely thrown at, PFF tends to award an "average" baseline grade (mid-to-upper 60s) rather than a high elite grade, because they have very few opportunities to make high-impact plays like pass breakups or interceptions.

I think PFF should change that philosophy. A CB who's not targeted is a good thing

Think he also has a missed tackle which hurt his grade.
