I’ll just say I’m 63 and after reading this thread I’ve never felt younger! Ha!

One of my favorite football games to attend was an away game in Jackson, MS against Ole Miss on Halloween Night. Don't even remember who won that game, only that I had one of the best nights of my college life.
After the game we went to C W Goodnights near a reservoir - big happening place. Star Wars was a recent, hugely popular movie in theaters at the time (should clue you in how old I am). Tons of folks dressed up as the aliens in the bar scene in the original movie. The place was wild with collegiate activity! Under 21 in Mississippi got a hand stamp that only allowed you to order weak beer. It was surreal. Never forget that night!

I am 62 and the Curley Hallman years and the last two of Orgeron was the worst. Season ticket holder through the Dinardo Saban Lea Miles and Orgeron eras.

My favorite games were when we beat Florida with Tanks during Dinardo’s time and beating them with again with Hester during Miles time. Saban’s Nat Championship (I was there!). 2007 Natty. The whole 2019 beating everyone like a rented mule.

Most heart broken loss - 2011 Bama

Most exciting players to watch during my time as a Tiger fan:
Dalton Hilliard
Kevin Faulk
Tyrian Mathieu
Clyde Ed Hillaire
Joe Burrow
Jayden Daniels

We turned my Dad into an LSU fan and he went to most all the games with us until he died at 83. Despite having a bad heart and angina he climbed those ramps and steps all the up high in the South end zone section. Never complained.

Definitely a roller coaster but many Good times.

I’m 72 now and raised I DeRidder. My first live LSU game was in the old Sugar Bowl vs Tulane as a sophomore in HS. We won 34-10 and was Tommy “Trigger Allen’s last game for LSU. My favorite game was the “earthquake” game vs Auburn. Remember it like yesterday. Listened to LSU on my home radio since I was 5-6 to Ferguson. People in this country just think they know what fans are. After seeing what LSU/LA and donors just did this week…now THAT’s fandom.

I don't want to piss in anybody cereal, because the last few days seem to have charted a new path for this football team, but let's not get too excited. We thought that Kelly had us aligned 4 years ago. The program is in a MUCH better situation now than then, but things happen. It's a looooong off-season. I think we'll see more championships in the next decade as well, I just caution anyone against expecting it.

I’m 80. First LSU game-Rice v LSU 1957. Back field: J. Taylor, B. Cannon, J. Robinson, W. Rabb! Loyal fan all of my life. This year was the most depressing season. But this past week has really perked me up. I have hopes of seeing our return to excellence on both sides of the ball - in the same season. Geaux Tigers!!!

Went to my 1st LSU game in the 1985 Liberty Bowl. I’m still a Jeff Wickersham fan.

In my lifetime, 2019 stands alone. 2011 was special, but it didn’t end well.

I’m optimistic about the coaching staff we are assembling.
