Don't be so harsh on yourself. A nice hot shower and lots of soap and that smell will go away.

From the message board:
My New Rule
harlanhomeboy, Today at 8:34 AM
"At least for the month of January, I am implementing a new anger management technique that worked really well last night for this team at this current state in the season. Once the Cats get down double digits on the road Im turning the game off and watching something else (last night my wife and i started watching Making a Murderer....fascinating stuff). I will check in periodically to see if anything has really changed and warrants to flip back over. We actually flipped over once when we cut it 4 in the 2nd half, but immediately in less than a minute it was back up to 9 so we flipped it back to Netflix.
Needless to say, I avoided game rage and went to bed way more calm than if I had watched the 2nd half of the game. This team just does not have the ability right now to come all the way back from double digits on the road at this point and until they turn the corner (hopefully they will like 2011 and 2014) I'm saving myself the anger when they're down more than 10 on the road in any game. We all had that OSU/UCLA feeling at halftime so I saved myself from high blood pressure the rest of the way."
LOL, i have a few LSU friends who use this tactic.

lugubrious
LINK
Funerals are lugubrious. So are rainy days and Mondays. Anything that makes you sad, gloomy, or mournful can be called lugubrious.
Lugubrious comes from the Latin verb lugere, "to mourn." You can also listen to the sound of the word: lugubrious sounds slow, heavy, and sad. Sometimes, just the "feel" of a word is enough to clue you in to its meaning, and lugubrious is one of those words. I was feeling great when I got to the concert, but the lugubrious music left me in a terrible mood.*
*kinda like the rant?

Just so you know, utilizing terms that no one has a clue what it means does not make others less intelligent than you...it makes you look like a fool.

Chill out. My goodness, it was funny and appropriate. You probably even learned a new word, which is good for your brain.

I've looked that word up 30 times in the last 40 years, and it just won't stick.

Lugubrious is a good word I'm glad to have learned it today - thanks OP
Another good word that I like, but can't ever work into conversation ever, is erinaceous - like or related to a hedgehog.

I love how one of those guys said he was glad Simmons didn't choose UK because he's cocky
Posted on 1/6/16 at 11:34 pm to Ed Osteen
Then the rational fan asks, "Are you telling me that you are glad Ben Simmons didn't choose UK? Are you people high?"
