I’ve been fairly negative but there is 1 big positive

You played about as poorly as you could in the 1st half in the road against a team that I think is playoff semifinal level good just like last year and almost came back and beat them. Leavitt played bad, that is a fact, but the offensive line did him no favors in pass pro. And Blake baker needs to stop calling the defense scared when he plays a good QB. Lane can improve Leavitt throughout the year and the baker thing is easily fixable but he as to get over himself

He hasn’t fixed it in 3 years. What makes you think he can now?
And now he has Reed coming next week, and he has already made Baker’s defense look silly twice.

I really believe that despite all of the negatives and poor play from key positions we win that game with Trey’Dez.

Good point. I’m hoping that he watches the film and realizes that man and blitzing is where we had the most success. You could not really tell in past years because your defense was liable in certain areas regardless of what was called. Last night the defense only allowed 8 points in the 2nd half to a top 3 offense in the nation and the best offense you will play. Also I feel as though lane is more likely to urge him to create adjustments to what Burger King did

I still like the defense and the team. I was skeptical because of last year but we still have dudes. Let’s see the team play next week and how they improve through October.
