I think this is mostly the problem. I don't have anything to back this up, but its the only thing that makes sense to me. Entitled young athletes who thought it would be handed to them at LSU. When it got tough, they buckled. No leadership appears to be showing up at this point.

If the team doesn’t have chemistry and firing on all cylinders, no matter how good the talent is, the “team” won’t go very far.
