you forgot to add we were 1st in strikeouts, and had 2 batters hitting above .300.

Its fun to just throw out random comments to show how you feel with ZERO facts supporting them.

LSU had the 6th fewest strikeouts in the SEC.

Perhaps you are looking at the pitching stats where we led the SEC in striking out our opponents.

I'm not taking up for our hitting, but the SEC has some of the best pitchers in the country. Hitting has been down across the league.

LSU's hitting wasn't terrible last season, but it wasn't great. We had some key timely hits at big moments during the season last year. We just missed it during the Supers after game 1. It seemed like it disappeared.

We will once again see some of the best pitching this league has to offer this year. Drawing USCe, UF, and Kentucky this year is going to be tough, even with a loaded up West. Those 3 teams will probably be 3 of the top 4 in the East. Florida has 2 aces with potential to be top 10 picks.

Preview will be out in 30 days.

I fully expect this team to make it to Omaha this summer barring any major injuries down the stretch.

Do they actually have a base running coach who knows what the hell is going on?

Better question... Who will be the other weekend starter?

Cody Glenn has made some big strides since last year, dont know if he will grab the 3rd spot (he is a lefty which is nice), but I hope he lives up to his billing this year. Guy was a high draft pick out of high school.

It's anyone's guess at this point who will get the 3rd spot. IMO, you'll see some different guys get the chance there before conference play starts. Glenn, Bonvillian, Bourgeois, McCune and a freshman or 2 will get their shots.

Of course not. This is LSU.

I agree, it's in LSU's best interest to get Glenn at least comfortable in that Sunday spot for SEC play. His power arm from the left side could be vital for the postseason run.

Who is the speedy good hitting outfielder we got from Delgado? I know a guy that his son plays for Delgado and said he's legit.
