No they weren’t. Aubbie brought some people.

Idk what game you are talking about, but the SE upper corner was absolutely empty.

I think eventually some LSU fans moved in for more elbow room, but I was underwhelmed by AU’s presence entirely.

Usually when I sit in the gold seats, there's a bunch of drunk annoying spoiled teenagers and 20 somethings acting like idiots and then leave early when their buzz wears off. I assume they are using their rich parents tickets.

TV showed the sideline seats in a wide shot at one point in the game before halftime last night, and it was a lot of old people just sitting on their hands. They weren’t even cheering, and it was third and long for Auburn. Disgraceful.

LSU needs to implement a policy where if you don’t show or leave early they take out $100,000 from your bank account for NIL money.

Winning puts asses in the seats. It’s been true since there were asses and seats.

Respectfully disagree. Prior to 2001, our last national title was 1958.
When I went in the 80's, stadium was packed, we had 1 season with 10 wins (10-1-1), and we didn't win the SEC that year- went to the Gator Bowl to play South Carolina.
1982, generally considered a great year, was 8-3-1.
1984- 8-3-1
1985- 9-2-1
1986- 9-3
1987- 10-1-1
1988- 8-4
No bowls again until 1995
1995 7-4-1
1996 10-2
1997 9-3

1970's best record- 9-2-1

During that timeframe, LSU was known to have a great home crowd, that's where the reputation comes from. It wasn't "play for a natty or bust", people came out no matter what, and they stayed. They savored the experience of watching an LSU game.

That's gone now.

the best seats in the stadium. Do these people/corporate ticket owners not even try to resell them?
most of the big boosters I know of sit up in the stadium club. One I sm very close to for the last 20 years has about 30 tickets all in primo spots but he personally has not attended a game since I have known him. He gives to customers first, family second and friends last.

I can’t speak to customers but as Family if you take em you damn better well not let reports get back to him your seats were empty. You won’t get them again

Whenever I can’t make a game, I give them away to friends or business acquaintences. They never go unused.

Just give the damn things away to someone you know if you can’t find a buyer.
