Thanks for giving me leave to do this. My mindset is for better than we have had for years at LSU football. The presence of Saban at 'Bama and the reformatted 'national championship' has changed everything in my opinion. I do not recall saying LSU was 'bottom of the barrel', but all of us understand that the LSU offense has kept this team from beating the gumps and contending on a national level. Until that happens with some regularity I will not be satisfied. BTW I do not care a wit about preseason expectations, good or bad.

The Univ of alabama is not going to write LSUAD a check for $3 million to get Dave Aranda. You can bet on that.
