If I remember right, those were the 3rd and 4th completed passes of the entire day for Matt Jones.
i want to venture that matt jones only completed 5 passes total ALL DAY! Fred Talley had a long TD run and Randall threw a nice tunnel screen to Green for a TD. that was a crazy roller coaster game.

That's one thing everyone knows by now - relying on the Iron Bowl never gets us to Atlanta.
technically you are right. it did not get us there in 2001 but it helped that Bama killed auburn then we beat auburn to send us to atlanta afterwards.

ugh. don't remind me. I watched every game either in person or on TV. painful. That team actually had NATTY aspirations that year. I remember discussing it with Kevin Faulk at fan day. That year was like groundhog day each week.

Greatest interim coach in LSU history
When all that happened i was 20 and listened to radio shows and all that. You know, when i thought football was really important. People were calling in saying we should hire hal hunter on the spot yadayada.
When saban was hired, the same yoyos were saying we dont need some yankee coming down here telling our boys how to play football.
Oh, i wish the rant existed then

it's a screen pass and the guy fumbled. I don't mean to argue, but the RB could've just as easily fumbled on a run. I didn't see the play so I wouldn't know as well
