Just offering up a little "big picture perspective".

-If you look across the CFB world LSU is the topic of conversation and in a good way. We are the "it" team right now. This always pays dividends in recruiting.
-Our offense not only has a pulse, but it has lethality and by God we have ourselves a QB.
-Despite all the overreaction, I think most rational people know the defense is talented, deep and Aranda is a great DC that will make the necessary adjustments. It was a perfect storm of a very good offense and some of our most reliable defenders having an off night.
-We have a staff of competent coaches and admin that actually work well together. From Scott to O to the Brady/SE combo and Aranda anchoring the D we have a staff that is working towards a singular purpose to bring home a championship.
-I may be setting myself up for disappointment, but I don't see any team between here and Bama that I think might beat us. My biggest concerns last season were UF and it's edge speed and A&M, Bama notwithstanding. UF doesn't bother me this year. I think they put up the biggest fight, but we win by 10+. I think we win going away vs Auburn and Miss St setting up a battle of undefeated teams @Bama.

This is the most confident I have been going into a season in years and I haven't seen anything to change that belief.

This season reminds me of 2011 or 2007 where we were respected and feared by everyone. The media is taking us serious again and it feels glorious.

I think Joe has a bad taste in his mouth from last years Florida game. I expect a blowout.

I believe once again the UF and A&M games will be the biggest tests outside of Bama, but they are both on our home turf and I think this team is pissed we lost and will come out focused and play violent. Franks has improved, but if we get hits on him he doesn't have the mental toughness to recover. He's probably the biggest whiner at the QB position in the SEC. And I agree Joe likely wants to make up for a bad performance last year.

Actually it is always a “great” time to be a Tiger fan!

Just some folks only like to be fans when things are going well! When they need us the most is when things aren’t always going our way! Like the support Will Wade got from us when he needed it! Those are great Tiger fans! Jumping on the band wagon when it is going good like now is easy!

Well suddenly Burrow is a Heisman favorite, Herbie is talking about us as the #2 best team and I've seen articles and discussion of us being able to knock off Bama. Is it overhype? Of course it is, until we prove it's deserved, it's kind of fun to watch all of the talk about LSU on ESPN, the SECN and online.
