You're an embarrassment if you seriously accept the head coach and mediocre football that we currently have with this team. Terrible poster.

Wait. You're on an LSU fan website posting that you don't support the staff or team but I'm a terrible poster. You are a joke. A retarded joke. Why you aren't permabanned is a mystery.

Still acting like a hysterical little girl I see.
You should stop consuming so many soy products.

From my understanding, they are going around to different schools and pro teams to learn new concepts to implement into this upcoming offense
You do realize that coaches all over do this all the time don't you. It sounds to me like he's doing his due diligence in order to field a competent offense. For some reason you view it as a negative. I view it as an enormous positive. LSU is going to be just fine on offense.

Right back at you, Julie.
I'd be careful with slinging that word around if I were you considering some of the absolutely asinine statements that you've made on this board.

Yes I do. They do it to add to their already existing offense, not to build it from scratch. I like the concepts they've talked about so far and what they seemed to be trying to do in the spring game. Again, it's whether or not all of these new coaches can come together, teach it and get it in sync. As I've stated numerous times, I don't trust Orgeron's hiring process and evaluation after the Canada and Joseph hires from last year.

There are things I don’t like about LSU but I don’t go whine like little bitches about it to everyone. You have a choice to be a fan or not.
Curious how you and others tie in attacking a coach (any coach) to attacking the institution, those are two separate things.
I hope he does prove everyone wrong, as it would mean the team excelled. I just still don't believe he's the right man to do the job. We can agree to disagree on that point, and still support the Tigers.

Hope my arse. The people are doing what it takes to win. They're exploring new ideas and new offenses they're bringing in transfers where needed. None of you like them so you bitch like women. The other poster probably much like yourself has done nothing but hate on the coaches. So please feel free to GFY.

Do you honestly think that Steve doesn't have a base offense in his head. Where do you think he's been coaching for the last 30 years? On mars?

eyeofthetiger3 - don't be scared by saying there are some on here that dislikes O cause he is not a PRISTINE White guy, tell it like it is, that there are RACIST BIGOTS that will hate him for being cajun regardless, we've already had complaints from the spelling of Burreaux. He has not yet done anything to deserve this criticism at this point.

Well, I know he's been in the tight end's room since being LSU. We'll see, I hope he does well. I just don't understand how anyone can say they know he will since no one has seen him do it for 2 decades.

Nothing at all huh?
-hiring an OC that doesn't run the offense he wants to run
-losing to a Sun Belt team
-being completely dominated by MSU
I'm just gonna stop there.

If anything, I have more concerns about Orgeron now.
I thought he'd be able to competently run Miles' system (not the single game or season stuff, the actual ongoing program) for awhile, until it began breaking down and he had to fix things. My concern was that he wasn't going to be able to keep it going smoothly once that happened.
Instead, we've already slipped pretty significantly in recruiting, we needed to throw the bank at Aranda to preserve the defense (Aranda's getting paid more than LOTS of HC's), and the offensive side (the part we were mad at Miles about) has been, if anything, even more disorganized. After a year and a half, we've promoted a TE coach who said he'd do it but didn't want it permanently, paid a lot to bring in an outside guy, ran that guy off and re-promoted the same unwilling TE coach. We've bumbled the development of a promising young QB, threw so many systems at the current players that they don't know the playbook, and now we've brought in a grad transfer to leapfrog past the guys who had come in out of highschool. Sure, Burrow might pan out, but we've likely wasted Brennan and Narcisse in the process.
And this is only technically "year 2" we're going into. We haven't had a shred of stability since O took over. That needs to change, before this program goes down the drain Tennessee style.

I'm not at that point yet, but it doesn't take long to get there. This is a very important year. I don't think Alleva will make the change. I believe he would have to get fired in order to have change at HC.

I *want* him to prove me wrong. I'd love to come back and eat crow over this because it'd mean LSU was doing well.

The only reason anybody with sense doesn’t like him is he is a proven failure as a head coach.
