Landry is going to be a intermediate route threat. I expect him to catch alot in that 15 yd down field area behind the LBs. Good hands, good speed, consistent, and obviously not shy about contact. This guy will be well known before he is done at LSU.

I'd say he's good for 20 catches in the Les Studthorpe offense.

Miles has given no indication of opening up the mimeographed 12 page playbook.

Rely on defense, specials teams and grind the opponent into dust.

JohnnyU, you are forgetting years gone by.
LSU 2007. They threw. They had a QB.

Rest assured, if one of the QBs on the team can do better than JJ, they will get the chance. After all, for the most part, JL threw well enough. Its just that he can be rushed into mistakes.
So.... on to the next season. Dont presume Mett or one of the other guys cant make it happen.

Sooo looking forward to Jarvis doing his thing. I think he will be our best WR in a while by the time he leaves.

This is the guy that half the douche bags on this site want to move to defense, correct?

He will be a great WR.

No wide receiver looked good this year without a qb that can't throw the ball over 15 yards with any accuracy! Mett will take care of that next year. I think Randal made a mistake leaving early with Mett being the qb this year.

Actually, Miles indicated that LSU will pass more next year.

Last year was an aberration.

If its the same one as this year, he might have 12 catches all year

Doc, you might want to go see your real Doc about some meds... possibly some anti-depressant meds, to get you a better perspective!!

Landry broke his foot in fall practice which is why he didn't get more pt this year. Beckham passed him on the depth chart and never looked back. If Landry stays healthy he'll be just as good as Beckham and they'll make a great duo. Have to use TE over the middle more also.
