Yep Thomas has been a redzone nightmare so far in practice. He’s also been giving ricks the blues. This is obviously our most talented WR class and I think this group can be special. Reminds me of the 2017 class Alabama signed with Ruggs Smith and Jeudy.

Other than preseason camp buzz that’s said he’s looked good, how did him being WR2 already become the conclusion?

Jimbo wanted Thomas badly. That tells you this kid is gonna be good. Fisher can evaluate as well as anyone

I think full speed pads matter but like I said WR2 is open for the taking. Moore is a slot, they don’t even play the same spot

And to think not too long ago it looked like he was not coming to LSU...

Games aren't practice. Does he know how to read coverages and break off a route depending how the safeties are playing us? Does he know when to be looking for a back shoulder based on how the DB is shading him? Can he block? There's a lot more to being a WR than beating a guy one on one in shells. This isn't the Bootleggers 7on7.

Jack Bech has to inserted to the offense some way. This kid is to good to not see playing time

It was his first practice dude. Learning all the above is the point of camp, right?

That's why he's practicing as a Tight End despite being a Receiver.

Absolutely, and why he isn't the "#2 WR". If he's as good as everyone is hyping him to be, he may the be the second option by October but not the first week of camp. It's a ludicrous statement.

How do you know if he is or isn’t? How many practices have you gone to?
You probably didn’t think OBJ would start WR2 game 1 either, but he did.
