It seems that the SEC can announce NOW whether visiting fans will be allowed

I know that the decision whether to allow fans at all is still to be made. But at least announce whether visiting fans will be allowed if fans are allowed. It may factor into additional seating for season ticket holders that are trying to decide whether to opt IN.

Pretty sure I saw that visiting schools would get 500 tickets unless no fans are allowed. I may be making that up.

Not sure why any of this is a concern to anyone.

There is absolutely no chance we make it to game 1 before the season is cancelled.

0% chance.

I get the allotment piece of this, but how would the ticket offIce know the difference between an LSU fan living in Alabama driving to the game vs. an Alabama fan driving to the game.

I wonder how the NFL is going to handle ticket sales

I think it would be a smart move to not give the visiting team's fans tickets. Individual visiting fans could still buy tickets on the secondary market and go to the game, buy they shouldn't be able to get them through the school.

It would be an easy was to reduce risk.

They don’t. It just means that visiting teams would get 500 tix to sell directly through their school. But if you are attempting to purchase a ticket through that particular school, then they have no way of knowing for sure if you are truly a fan of that school.

But at the end of the day; 500 would easily get eaten up by family and priority season ticket holders/boosters before ever going on sell to the general public.

Hey jsmoke222000, this is off-topic, but you had posted some time ago about having all the 2019 season downloaded, and that you'd be willing to share. How can I contact you?

The Alabama ticket office, who would be distributing them, would know exactly who is getting them.

I don’t see where anyone needs to be traveling to away games...maybe players families, but that is about it.

Nothing they announce right now matters. It remains to be soon what the virus will do, and what our governors will do.
