Oh so we take up for the mobile black qb because his OL got mauled, but we bash Danny etling because Alabama mauled our O line. You people will go to any extreme

And how we shut down the reigning Heisman winner. They are already on the Lamar for Heisman train again, but honestly I cannot take that team seriously anymore considering what we did to them last year. I understand it is a new year, but does anyone else feel the same?

Yeah, Alabama feels the same.

We would be indefensible

Lamar is great, but to be fair, there is only one of him and our D was absolutely loaded with talent and a superior coach. We had two 1st rounders, 5 guys drafted from the D in all, and likely future 1st rounders in Arden Key and Devin White pouncing on him. That D could have taken any team down by season's end with a little offense.

I quit watching that trash tv years ago. Then they started a political agenda which made it 1000 times worse. The only thing that shitty channel is good for is live sports and college game day.

Let's put this in perspective...ESPN just pulled an Asian announcer off the air because his name is Robert Lee. Let that sink in for a second.....now what were you saying?

I hear Lamar once carried the nickname "Stonewall" and ESPN is actually not going to televise any games he plays in.

I hope he kills it, making our effort look that much more impressive.

Don't have to take them seriously though to appreciate his production. He will probably put up huge numbers against nobodies and FSU, and good numbers against the few solid teams they play.

He's not playing LSU again before the ceremony, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends up in New York.

There is a possibility that ESPN requires him to change his last name to Lincoln so that he is on the correct side of things, otherwise he may not be a viable candidate for the Heisman.

?

He damn sure wouldn't last a season against an Lsu type d. He will never do anything in the NFL...bookmark it.just a long line of failure by another "spread" qb

What does the NFL have anything to do with his College success? It's a completely different style of play. You can't equate success or failure by seeing how he fares in the NFL

Also how many teams in the SEC have these mythical Defenses? Times have changed. There's ALOT of mediocrity in the conference. The ACC is just as strong as the SEC
