2011
13-1 / 8-0
2012
10-3 / 6-2
2013
10-3 / 5-3
2014
8-5 / 4-4
2015
7-2......

As BOT or AD, you push for hard changes on offense (brand new ST and OC coaches).....meaning he must take his clutches off the new OC. BUT, you don't cut the man loose.

That said, lets say he goes 8-4 or 7-5 this year, then anything less than 10 wins in 2016 with that roster would be the fat lady singing.

Yes it is. It has been for a while. He's not a good coach. It was time after 2009. 2011 was pure talent. PURE talent.

If they have a viable option then i disagree. But i would agree to a point, that you cannot fire Les and then start your coaching search. You need someone in place ready to come on board immediately.

And, really, when you look at that season, even with all that pure talent, the outlier was an undersized giant from New Orleans, LA.

Tyrann Mathieu changed games. We wouldn't have gone undefeated without him. There is no way. He's the greatest player to ever put on the LSU uniform.

Who got that talent? Who was responsible for assembling the best teams in LSU history?

why must we continue to beat our heads against this wall? How many times will we allow Les to make the OC the scapegoat for our offensive problems? He isn't going to suddenly change who he is if he hasn't realized the need for it yet.

Also, what OC worth a shite are you going to get if his job pretty much depends on righting the ship in one year or be out looking for another job?

.....so, after 2013 he should've been fired?

13-1 was pure talent, yet he gets zero credit.....

It really comes down to the SEC record and the debacle vs Bama.. Its his Achilles heal at this point and we cant get over the hump anymore.. Not sure if that means he needs to be canned but the discussion is warranted if we falter again over the next two.

....I understand his hard headedness......my intent was a come to Jesus meeting where it is understood he gets out of the way for a year.

That's the problem. Actually this philosophy epitomizes Miles' tenure. It's always something: Malaveto, 2008 QBs, 2014 QBs, Studrawa as OC, this year's Special Teams, next year's Front 7 depth, the DC situation, not having Harris and the offense ready to go and able to adjust against Bama/Arky this year.

The program is always reacting when it's too late, instead of anticipating potential issues and nipping them in the bud. A couple of hires like Orgeron, Cameron, and Wilson seemed like a great idea, but not enough to make the difference.

It's time to be proactive for once, and change course.

I call fricking bullshite. I'm sick and tired of saying, "let's wait and see" or "next year...". frick this shite. Same thing happens every damn year. We're expecting different results with the same snake head.

Time to remove the snake.

11 was the toughest schedule LSU has played in the history of the program. 07 was the 3rd toughest. So Les Miles played for a national title in the two of the hardest seasons LSU has ever had. Thats in 122 seasons they have played.

Why our Fans discredit this dude is beyond me. go ahead and fire him and watch Alleva make a circus out of this and LSU will finally slide back to the 90s.

Let the season play out. If he retires so be it, if not give him 1 more year with the whole intent of him retiring next season. If he doesnt then fire him. It will give the new AD time to find a good replacement.

Until Les is fired or stops hiring his friends to be assistant coaches, we will continue to slide into the 1990s.

LOL

Only a dumbfrick thinks 22 football players no matter how talented, can just run around a gridirorn and go 8-0 in the SEC,..... 13-1 vs one of the most difficult schedules in CFB.
