Funny how we (LSU fans love to bellyache). Auburn has been one game away from firing malzahn the last two years. Several schools replaced their coaches this year. We are not alone in our concerns

It's not sustainable. Playoffs have made college football more like the NFL

Recruit 10 quarterbacks and 10 kickers. Find the best one.

The instability will continue until both O and Alleva are gone.

Other than O switching OCs, which happens at programs all over the country all the time, there is no instability. In fact, the program is on the rise, which is why Aranda didn't abandon ship when he had the opportunity. Indeed, no one will offer Aranda any more money to leave other than Texas A&M.

A bunch of moronic adolescents throwing temper tantrums on the rant because Coach O is our coach and he is doing a damn good job doesn't constitute instability. It constitutes insanity instead.

You have no idea what a decline is. Check your LSU football history after Bill Arnsparger left. I believe that was around 1985 - 1987. After he left there was Archer, Hallman and Dinardo. Our program was abysmal until Saban showed up in the early 2000's.

Fan must mean I bury my opinion if it doesn’t pump sunshine 24/7 while we keep sinking into mediocrity... Dude l am sorry if I choose not to ignore what’s clearly looking unstable.

I don’t like Alleva and repeatedly question the O hire, but I don’t ever recall this much interest and minute to minute frantic concern over LSU coordinator and coaching hires. It has surpassed the rational level.

It’s O and the administrations job to get it done. If they don’t, they won’t be here much longer.

The instability lies as much in our bi polar fan base as it does with O at the helm (and I never thought I would say such a thing). As someone not jumping up and down over O as our coach, the fan base needs to tap the brakes and let this play out.

Didn’t Bama just change offense coordinators this year? Are they unstable?

Briles will never be here. Administration will never approve the hire.

HF or KB will not happen. Many reputable sources have said that.

Gem on Bama
BeauChristopher’s response is spot on:
Well their defensive coordinator is not so important because their HC is the best defensive coordinator in colllege. That side of the ball is always locked up.. we don’t have an x and o coordinator HC therefore we are totally dependent on both coordinator hires. That’s just hard to do.. hitting on both all the time..

Alabama has had the #1 class for SEVERAL years and the only reason they are number one is because you can’t go any higher. #2 isn’t always even close. That much talent is hard to stockpile unless you have a respected HC I’m sure. Kirby is doing amazing things at Georgia. That could be us with the right HC, before it gets too ugly IMO

BAMA at times has had some qb issues but their o line talent and rbs have helped mask a lot of it. Now they get away with just using a running qb who isn’t much of a passer.

Instability? If we lost Aranda yeah I’d agree with you.

we will have 4 diff play callers in a 3 years span.

Everyone says the offense is what held us back... Thats intsability on the side of the ball that needs to get fixed.

getting tired of this. The fans did let it play out and it turned into a pr nightmare with firing Les then not firing him then making o the head coach.

We let it play out and LSU just went 9-4 against the weakest schedule it's had in almost 2 decades. Biggest loss to MSU in history of program, first loss to sun bet team in history of program.

When can we say ok, it has been played out and we are going nowhere?
