It won’t. Maybe for conferences like ACC or Big12 when they are looking at only 1 or 2 teams.
SEC & B1G will have 4 or 5 teams in CFP, obviously including the two that played in their conference championship

LSU just needs to keep winning. They control their destiny. Way to many games still to be played.

Going to be hilarious when we are 10-2, go to Atlanta and get our asses kicked by Texas and they leave us out of the playoffs because of "3 losses"

People seem to forget Bama snuck in and UGA was left out in this same scenario.
LSU could absolutely get hosed if they lost SEC CG and ended up 10-3 with a bunch of 10-2 teams like UGA or Bama sitting there waiting.
