LSU had the advantage. Kentucky came out of the locker room and thought, "half the stadium is empty, what a snooze fest". LSU players came out the locker room and thought, "Wow, what a big crowd. Look at all the students standing and making noise."

LSU is used to playing on front of 5,000 fans, Kentucky was thrown off.

History reflects 100% of the time we play Kentucky in Baton Rouge during an ice storm, LSU wins. So, its not that improbable.

Many people thought that Baton Rouge would freeze over before the LSU basketball team would be Kentucky this year. They were right.

Why, what are you thinking? 2.5 out of every 8.3?

Thanks Dale Brown, but those days are long over.

I think LSU had beaten Kentucky only one time prior to Dale being hired.

That's why I said thanks Dale Brown. He holds the most wins against Kentucky as a head coach all time.
