Good for you. That doesn't make you fast or a good football player. Nor does it make Tara less than your great Catholic school.

yea, a Saints scout considers that fast, but the guy that went to one of the worst 5A football schools in the state says its not. Hmmmm, who should i believe.

just because your friends were good at track and football doesnt make you an expert on the issue either.

So your high school being average in 1992 means you don't know speed? You are brilliant.
Posted on 8/16/15 at 4:07 pm to Lester Earl
Actually it does seeing as though I've been one of those guys. I've actually been a factor on good football teams from high school and much higher. Also I graduated from Central High and lost in the playoffs to Opelousas and they had speed.
If you have seen speed all your life, you would tend to know what it looked like.

as opoosed to you thinking my only frame of reference is the internet and combine?
Ike, im going to need some objectivity out of you my man.
You cant sit here and rib the internet, when in one breath you say Jordy Nelson & Antonio Brown ran 4.4's. The internet is loaded with information, and what you are saying is just not factual.
It simply cant be true jsut because you believe it in your head. That facts say you are wrong. sorry if that makes you upset.

Good for you.
Also realize that some of the best talent evaluators NEVER ran close to a 4.4 40, much less played football at a high level. I understand you wan to sit here and brag, but that doesnt make you an authority.

Yes, that is the range of what scouts probably timed him at.
The fact is, his official NFL Combine time was 4.57
And Nelson's official NFL Combine 40 was 4.51
It can be found on that same site you are posting from.

This info is from the "internet". Now if you believe the combine is the end all be all, then no, they are not 4.4 guys. But the fact still remains, if you can say they are 4.5 guys because the internet told you, I can also be right because the same info says they ran 4.4s either at the school or while scouted somewhere.
Posted on 8/16/15 at 4:18 pm to IsaacBrown2
and they can also run as high as 4.59 (brown) and 4.62(nelson), if you want to play that game.
Bottom line is they are all fast.

And yes, Tara is horrible, but the has zero to do with the discussion nor if I know speed. Hahaha!

4.52 is not fast my friend.
A high school kid running a legit laser timed 4.52 40 is most def fast. Tyron did that at the SPARQ camp in New Orleans... And it was the 8th fastest time there out of more than 1,000 participants.
To say it's not fast is laughable. It's not blazing speed, but it's def fast. Especially considering its a high school kid were talking about here.

all about perspective. If you have seen speed, just saying fast is a lot harder then those who have not.
4.52 electronic 40 is fast for anyone. Come the frick on. Lets not act like you've been around and played with a bunch of sub 4.4 guys because you haven't
Posted on 8/16/15 at 5:00 pm to Rickdaddy4188
Speak for yourself. I've seen a lot of players who were great that didn't run fast and I've see a lot of fast guys who weren't great football players. But once again, there are schools that send 10-12 guys to college every year, but just because you have never seen it doesn't make it less true.

Im speaking for every highschool in America dumbass. You think highschool football teams have plethora of sub 4.4 players? There were 2 cbs and 4 wrs in the 2015 nfl combine.

The fact that you think there are a bunch of legit sub 4.4 guys on a high school football team proves your ignorance. 99% of the damn nfl doesn't run sub 4.4 40 but the highschool team you played on did? There aren't many highschool track members that run sub 4.4's. Good god.get a clue and stop looking ignorant. You are literally the only one making this argument.
