extra innings and the Bama dogpile was part of the plan... that would have more impact on the players' psyches than a garden variety 7-2 loss

I'd like to think this was Les' strategy for the title game. They were a little cocky after going 13-0 and he wanted his boys to be focused on the home opener with North Texas. Looks like it worked
