With TM7, no doubt. Without him it remains to be seen.

As far as the offense goes, Yes. The defense appears to be as dominant.

Absolutely TM7 on this team takes the cake.

But put it this way if you took last years team and put them up against this years team. H2H.. Who wins.. It's a toss up, but a capable QB still goes a very long ways.

People will know how great this team is when they have a prime time game.

At first i was thinking this wasnt true at all...but the more i think about it..really all this defense/ team is missing is a consistent play maker.

Don't get me wrong. This team is really good an ZM is the best qb we have had in years. Tm7 is a once in a decade type play maker. We have playmakers just not like him. I think that is why the defense doesn't "look" as good.

My take. Where are we worse? Safety play has been worse so far no doubt. But my fears going into this game never happened and Washington didn't burn Loston multiple times. Whew.

LB play is better and my goodness I think Kwon, Jones, and Feist are as solid as the starters. Upgrade at LB no doubt.

A bunch of pushes at other spots and a huge upgrade at QB.

I just don't see how this team is not a significantly better team.

It depends on how you define TEAM.

Last years team was as fricking cohesive and close as you can get.

Yeah we now have a QB, but we need to grow TOGETHER and see what happens.

Last year we knew from the get go (Oregon game) that we had something special. This year is a different story. We still need to see how this team responds to true adversity and legitimate competition.

This team might turn out to be better.
But no signature wins to back it up.
I think its hard to compare to last years team because after the week 1 match up of Oregon, No one could really deny this team had "it".
For now its speculation til LSU plays like this the whole season.

If they continue to progress I'd say yes. And I think next year's team may be better than this one if Mett stays.

Dline is just as good if not batter, the lber's are better, the secondary not as good. Offense better

The only unit that I would say is definitely worse is the Secondary.

I think the offense is much improved. While Randle was a better WR talent the what we have I think the overall group is probably better. OL looks better, RBs looks amazing, and obviously Mett is way better than the below average QBs of JJ and Lee.

Offensively "yes" without a doubt.....

Defensively "unclear" the D-Line and LBs "yes"

Eric Reid and Tharold Simon "yes"

Jalen Mills, Jalen Collins and Craig Loston uncertain... They will be the "make or break" for this defensive team, imo.

Way to early to tell. We did have a lot of improvement from week 1 IMO. Mett looked all world to me tonight. If we improve every week we will be a load to deal with. I would think Bama would be the only team with a shot at us if we keep getting better every week.

Not even close. This team will be remembered as the best ever. We have a coach that just wants a w and doesn't run up the score, but if you look at the score it looks like we ran it up. Enjoy this tiger fans. Greatest ever.
