LSU, this season, has an NFL caliber offense playing college caliber defenses. The scheme as well as the talent level at QB, running back, and the receiver positions are ALL future NFL players. Having an NFL experienced coach helping in the design adds even more to the mix. I cannot remember a college offense such as this one.

best at LSU statistically speaking for sure
LSU has never had an offense in the same galaxy as this one...period!

Although I agree with alot of what your saying , LSU offense is scheme right ? Rpo/spread/high tempo, right ? That's the name of our new scheme ? So LSU is the epitome of "out scheme opponents".IV been waiting for bout 8 years for LSU to out scheme opponents , bc lord knows linen N em' up and running the I-formation and Max protect blocking schemes
There is a base scheme of course. But what we’re seeing I believe is more just pure execution of an aggressive passing scheme. It’s actually less RPO than it is just an aggressive downfield passing attack. Not dissimilar to Mike Leach (with more balance) or what the Saints do. We have some RPO mixed in. McElroy was discussing this during the game I believe.
It comes down to your trust of the players to execute. The reason we can do what we do is because we have the players to actually execute it. What Brady is doing isn’t some new novel offense. The reason it is so unprecedented is the ability of the coaches to trust the players to actually do it.

You are correct. You can run any scheme you want, but without execution it matters little. And we still haven't seen the whole playbook. I saw plays last night I have not seen all season which is refreshing.
