And if we do have a first rounder will you come back here and admit that you are a mindless douche and then go away and never come back?

Talk is cheap.

I think Lafell will be 1st Round pick behind Dryant...Golden Tate is too short to be a 1st Round pick...(IMO of course)

Not coaching failure, but a sign that the players did not play as a team and win.......

7 of the 12 players are on the defensive side of the ball. I think most logical individuals who watched the games would reasonably say that the defense played well this year.

Charles Scott --> injured
Richard Dickson --> injured
Ciron Black --> regressed after showing star potential
Keilland Williams -->we can debate this one all day
Brandon LaFell --> probably improved his draft stock

So is it really a surprise?

we have a staff making over $5million a year whose job it is to turn these men into a team and into leaders. If the execution is not there, it is a direct indictment of the coaching they are receiving.

So if you let it be known you are angry about the President and his failures in office, you don't love America? Well I for one believe you love it more than the ahole who just sits there and takes it and is ok with being middle of the pack, which LSU has played like lately!

No wonder all the anylists talk about how players aren't "coached up" in Baton Rouge.

Great. It is another lame use of my favorite over-used rant cliche': "coaching up". What does this mean, exactly?

It's just the Miles haters on here that take something that is said and RUN's with it....LSU did not have a great year last year....yes

I have faith the Miles will get this fixed and it's started w/ the new coaching hires. Let's move on.......There were many teams that underachieved last year........this is directly related to Saban and his two year run.

Beat Bama and have a respectful season next year.....and many of these trolls will quit spewing for a while.

the inept coaching that we have to deal with does not have a correlation to other schools having a down year, if anything with our "talent level" as high as it was we chould have been able to manage a better season even with medicore coaches. the point is we have good coaches, but not at the level that is to be expected

It's not that we had the most players invited that is the problem. It's that we only went 9-4 with those players. I want LSU to have the most players invited EVERY year. And I want our record to reflect the fact that we have the most NFL combine invitation worthy players every year.

It would be different if 3-4 of the players were OL and a QB, some of the guys at the combine are very marginal prospects at best. I would prefer to have 6-8 solid prospects than a marginal unit of 12, of which maybe 3-4 have a legitimate shot of getting off a practice squad and playing 3 years or longer. That said, the offensive coaching reeked last year.

Seriously? Ok, think of it as a depth chart. Or think of it as a progress chart or whatever....a player gets coached and he gets better and he moves "up" in the standings, depth chart, etc. So he was coached UP! It is slang but it means the player got better because of coaching.

It is the opposite of "coaching down" like "Stud the Dud" does. T-Bob Hebert is an example of "coaching down." On most running plays he was down on the ground.
